Why is human an emotional being?

Emotion is a strong feeling, it can either be positive or negative, emotions should be expressed not hidden.


Emotions were created by God, then I ask myself why did God create emotions because these feelings are actually not palatable sometimes.


Like why can't he just let us be emotionless, so we won't feel any pain, heartbreak, disappointment, frustration, bitterness and depression?.




But it occurs to me that life would be less fun, stagnant and less interesting without emotions.


Most importantly God created us in his own image and likeness, therefore without these emotions we are not a complete image of God.


Another reason he created us as an emotional being is so we can be able to connect with other people around us.


He create emotions so as to differentiate us between the living and the non living things


In conclusion God created emotions so we can connect, fellowship and communicate with him on a deeper level. He created emotions so we can feel his burdens and his unconditional love towards us, most importantly we should learn to embrace our emotions and learn to navigate through it
