Britain’s Got Talent: Simon Cowell likens terrifying vampire dance act to his son Eric

Simon Cowell likened a terrifying vampire dance act on Britain’s Got Talent to his son Eric. Yes, seriously. In a first-look of tonight’s BGT, urban dance troupe aptly called the Immortals took to the stage with their stunning, yet scary performance dressed as modern-day vampires. Although before they had even begun their audition, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon looked completely terrified.

The group from Barcelona crept on to the stage to a creepy version of the nursery rhyme Incy Wincy Spider. After the performance Amanda exclaimed: ‘That was terrifying’.

That was like a fight to the death from start to finish you were in fifth gear the whole time, it was unbelievable,’ Alesha commented. Although Simon had noticed something familiar with the act as he said: ‘I loved it, the only criticism I had was that a couple of you, rather than looking scary, made the kind of faces my son Eric makes at me. ‘This act reminds you of your five-year-old son?’ David Walliams interrupted.
